At just over two years and two months since I started the project, I’m delighted to announce that WAARHEID, my second feature-length sci-fi movie shot entirely in Second Life, will be released on Friday 16 December.
WAARHEID is the sequel to my 2020 movie, STÖMOL (which you can watch here or read about here) and stars Caitlin Tobias returning to reprise the role of the ill-fated truth hunter from the previous film. It also features AvaJean Westland, Ylva, Strawberry Singh, Boudicca Amat, Lydia Lindemann, Mich Michabo and myself. Once again, I have been blessed with an original electronic score by my long-term RL buddy G J Hicks.
At the same time that the movie is released, I will be opening an inworld exhibition featuring a number of the sets used in the movie, so you can explore these and take pictures in them (maybe even film machinima in them).
One day before the release, there will be an inworld premiere event open to all. The details for this will be announced in due course. UPDATE: There will be an afterparty at Satyr club following the inworld premiere, in a full-sized rebuild of one of the bespoke movie sets.
